Jungle Show, Chester Beatty Library Tours, National Gallery Events, “Plastic” Exhibition
Hi all!
I don’t really like that topic! I prefer to gather and write about the great free events that are happening in Dublin. But if you have been on a flight, you have heard the instructions “If there is a loss of cabin pressure, oxygen masks will drop from the overhead area. Please place the mask over your own mouth and nose before assisting others.”
Sometimes people wonder why they should look after themselves first before looking after their children, but this is clear: If you can’t get any oxygen anymore, you are NO use to your kids. So make sure you survive and then focus on your family.
What does that have to do with the Dublin Event Guide? And why do I Not like the topic? Well, the thing is that lately the support for the Dublin Event Guide has dropped drastically. And I don’t like begging, but if I don’t get the required “oxygen”, I am no use to you anymore. So, I better mention it! I need your help!
The Dublin Event Guide needs to pay bills (for Hosting, Internet Domains and for sending this newsletter every week) and I need your help for that. You can donate directly via www.paypal.me/DublinEventGuide or you can help in a way that doesn’t cost you a cent. Yes, this is possible!
This is how the support works that doesn’t cost you and it is super easy:
Just go to www.DublinEventGuide.com and at the top you will find the sentence “Is this what you were looking for?”. Right below that sentence you should find a rectangular ad. Please click on it!
The ad might change every time you open/refresh the page, so I can’t tell you what it is promoting. And if you don’t see an ad there, please turn your Ad Blocker off and refresh the page and then do the clicking. ;-) Thanks!
If you click on the ad, I get between 5 and 30 cent. That is not much, but if enough people help, it will do the job to cover the cost to keep the Dublin Event Guide going.
And now we come to some of this weekend’s free events. All events are sorted by start time, but watch out for the few events that have a “++” in front of them, the are particularly recommended. ;-) ALL events in this list are free, but some require booking! The market events that take place every week are only posted on the website at www.dublineventguide.com
