SPECIAL Event Guide: The Elvis Presley Story
Hi all!
Last week I mentioned in the Event Guide that myself and 20+ more people are spending a lot of time at the moment to prepare a special and memorable event. Today I will solve the riddle. ;-)
Some of you know that I am singing in the backing choir of the Kevin Doyle Elvis Tribute Band “Elvis The Way It Was”.
This month, on the 16th it is 30 years since Elvis Presley died and to commemorate this, we have put together an amazing show that tells Elvis’ life story in songs and pictures.
I have to admit that I am just a LITTLE biased ;-), but if you want to experience one of the best events of the year you should get your ticket soon. We will perform for a limited time only from the 13th until the 25th of August and you don’t have to be a die-hard Elvis fan to enjoy the songs and the shows.
Kevin, the Way it Was Orchestra and the Graceland Gospel Choir will perform more than 30 of Elvis’ songs for you and all this is combined with interesting multimedia parts and voice overs.
The event is in the Tivoli Theatre in Francis Street (near Christ Church) and it starts at 8pm every evening.
You can find out more about it on
www.elvisthewayitwas.com and you can book your tickets on
www.ticketmaster.ie/artist/956347
I hope you will be able to make it!! And when you come do say “HI!” after the show. …and a last thing: Bring all your family and friends, it will bring good Karma all around! Promise! ;-)
Take care,
–Joerg

Disclaimer: This Event Guide is sent to friends and colleagues of mine to lot you know about events (usually free!) in the Greater Dublin Area. I started this because some friends asked me to share my weekend plans with them as I went to all types of festivals and searched for more. ;-) If u don’t want to receive this mail, just let me know. If you have feedback, good or bad, PLEASE tell me. BTW: I have no affiliation with any of the organisers (not totally true for today’s event guide!! ;-) ) and don’t get any reward from them for advertising their events (that IS true, even for this event!).
